eNargiZinc Doctoral Candidates Bring Science Closer to Society through “Science Espresso” Activities
Our doctoral candidates have been actively engaged in outreach activities as part of the Science Espresso initiative, designed to bring cutting-edge battery research closer to students and the wider public.
- Marie-Louis Reich participated in both The Great Exhibition Road Festival and the Royal Society’s Summer Science Exhibition, where she shared insights into next-generation energy storage technologies.
- Shivam Sharma also contributed to the Royal Society’s Summer Science Exhibition, helping to raise awareness of sustainable battery research.
- Javearia Tariq delivered an engaging session on sodium-ion batteries to high school students at Bellahouston Academy in Glasgow, UK.
- Densa Ann Shaj, Barbara Bełza, Nikhil Medhavi, Arianna Sette y José Enrique Rodríguez participated in a Science Espresso event for students of the Escuela Politécnica Superior at the University of Zaragoza (Huesca campus), offering them a closer look at the eNargiZinc project and its research goals.
These outreach efforts help increase the visibility of the project and stimulate interactions among researchers, students, and society. We deeply thank our DCs for their dedication and for bringing science out of the lab and into communities.
