eNargiZinc Researchers Engage the Public in Science Espresso Event
As part of the outreach activities of eNargiZinc, a Science Espresso event was organised at Politecnico di Torino on 3 March 2026. The event aimed to communicate our battery research in a simple and accessible way to the general public, particularly targeting students and non-specialists.
During the event, Ali (DC11), Miłosz (DC4), and Hiba (DC10) delivered short talks (10–15 minutes each) introducing the basic concepts of battery systems and explaining their importance in everyday life. The presentations also included interactive questions that engaged the audience and encouraged a stimulating dialogue about batteries, energy storage, and the transition to more sustainable energy systems. To illustrate the research process, models were used to demonstrate the journey of battery technologies from the laboratory scale to industrial applications.
After the talks, participants continued the discussion in an informal setting over coffee.
